Business Transformation Consultant (Banking)

Location: Hoover, Alabama; Charlotte, North Carolina; or Atlanta, Georgia

Salary range target: $100,951.95–$133,710.00 USD annually, with possible annual discretionary incentive pay.

What you will do

• Partner with business, technology, and operations stakeholders to implement bank transformation goals.
• Plan, execute, and transition simple-to-intermediate transformation programs or workstreams within complex programs.
• Develop and manage project plans, monitor status, and identify risks to successful delivery.
• Support Transformation Managers with enterprise program delivery and independently draft project deliverables for review.
• Maintain ownership of deliverables throughout all program phases and obtain management feedback before finalization.
• Provide project and program status reporting.

Requirements

• One of the following: an MBA and 4 years of transformation or project management experience; or a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 4 years of directly related business transformation experience at a top-tier consulting firm; or the same bachelor’s degree and 6 years of transformation or project management experience.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, adapt to Agile methodologies, and communicate effectively.
• Experience with detailed project planning, task management, requirements support, and process or procedure development.
• Organizational change management, project management, project status reporting, and strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• RAID oversight covering risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions.
• Testing support experience, including UAT, and oversight of training for changes.

Nice to have

• Experience at a top-five consulting firm; this may substitute two of the eight years of traditional transformation experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• One year of banking or financial services experience.
