Digital Product Owner (EMR & API Integration)

What you will do

• Own the product vision, roadmap, backlog, release priorities, scope, and outcomes for the EMR and API integration product.
• Build the early-stage MVP into a scalable offering that simplifies clinic onboarding, EMR connectivity, and fertility-clinic workflows.
• Define requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, data needs, and integration requirements with clinics and Business Process Owners.
• Improve API provider experience across documentation, onboarding, testing, production readiness, monitoring, support, versioning, and backward compatibility.
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead, developers, EMR providers, external technical teams, Enterprise Architect, and other Digital Product Owners on trade-offs, dependencies, reliability, security, privacy, and integration design.
• Coordinate rollout and operational readiness, using feedback and KPIs to improve adoption, data quality, integration reliability, operational efficiency, and business value.

Requirements

• Proven experience personally building and scaling a B2B API or integration product from MVP or first production launch to adoption across multiple customers or systems.
• 5+ years of product ownership or product management experience, combining product strategy with hands-on prioritization and delivery in agile or product-oriented environments.
• Strong technical product experience with software, APIs, or integrations, including translating clinic workflows and internal process needs into API requirements.
• Technical fluency in APIs, data contracts, authentication, versioning, backward compatibility, and reliability; ability to read API documentation, follow data flows, and make technically credible product trade-offs. Coding is not required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, including collaboration with Business Process Owners, expectation alignment, and declining misaligned or low-value requests.
• Fluent English, written and verbal.

Nice to have

• EMR/EHR, healthcare, or laboratory-system experience.
• Familiarity with FHIR or HL7.
• Previous experience as a software or integration developer, solution architect, technical business analyst, or implementation consultant.
