Senior Product Owner (SACM)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid setup

Base salary: EUR 60,000–100,000 per year for a full-time role; additional performance-based rewards and benefits may apply.

What you will do

• Evolve the SACM product roadmap, lead quarterly planning, prioritise the backlog, and manage Agile delivery outcomes.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of backend services, databases, CI data models, APIs, and enterprise integrations; contribute to solution design and challenge technical proposals.
• Improve CI modelling, onboarding, lifecycle management, dependency mapping, CMDB coverage, data quality, ownership, and governance.
• Translate business needs into end-to-end solutions, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
• Modernise SACM through automation and AI-enabled solutions while aligning with architecture, security, and responsible AI principles.
• Own service reliability, risk remediation, technical debt, KPIs, audit support, security, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Product Management, including roadmaps, backlog prioritisation, stakeholder management, and delivery outcomes in Agile environments.
• Strong product management, strategic prioritisation, value-based decision-making, and Agile delivery capabilities; familiarity with Azure DevOps, Confluence, or comparable tools.
• Experience working with software engineering teams on technically complex products involving backend services, databases, APIs, or enterprise integrations.
• Ability to understand and critically evaluate backend architectures, relational databases, data models, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience or understanding of enterprise IT environments involving technology asset management, configuration data, service management, or complex operational data.
• Strong business analysis, requirements engineering, analytical thinking, decision-making, communication, stakeholder management, independence, and accountability.
• Exposure to enterprise data platforms, automated integrations, data governance, or emerging AI technologies.
• Experience in large, complex, or regulated organisations is preferred, particularly financial services or insurance.
• Relevant certifications include CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM or equivalent Agile certifications; ITIL 4 Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, CMDB accreditation, COBIT Foundation, or comparable qualifications.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SACM, CMDB principles, CI classification, configuration models, and dependency mapping.
• ServiceNow experience or equivalent enterprise platform knowledge.
• Understanding of enterprise data quality, completeness, reconciliation, ownership, and lifecycle controls.
