Senior Product Manager - AI Gateway

Location: Remote across listed European countries; Berlin office listed as the primary location. Visa sponsorship is available for Germany, while candidates in other countries must already have the right to work there.

Salary: €112.1K–€132.4K in Western/Northern Europe; €100.9K–€119.2K in Southern Europe; €89.7K–€105.9K in Central/Eastern Europe; £106.6K–£136.7K in the United Kingdom; €128.9K–€152.3K in the Republic of Ireland. Equity is offered.

What you will do

• Own the Gateway credits experience from sign-up through the first successful AI workflow or Agent and ongoing usage.
• Reduce credential friction and coordinate with Growth, Agents and hirify.global Assistant teams.
• Select model and tool providers, negotiate commercial terms, and manage pricing, commitments and consumption forecasting.
• Lead enterprise discovery with platform, IT, security and AI stakeholders and turn findings into product strategy.
• Define gateway capabilities including virtual keys, budgets, spend limits, access policies, usage reporting and audit.
• Coordinate product development across engineering, design, Cloud, Sales, Finance, Customer Success and adjacent platform teams.

Requirements

• Experience as a product manager for AI infrastructure, developer platforms, LLM tooling or enterprise administration and governance products.
• Hands-on experience negotiating partner or vendor deals.
• Strong understanding of usage-based pricing, unit costs and consumption forecasting.
• Comfort working with enterprise buyers, including platform engineers, security teams and IT leaders.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on builder mindset with the ability to move from ambiguity to prototype, shipped product and iteration.
• Technical fluency in APIs, integrations, authentication, schemas, data flows and system constraints.
• Data fluency in defining success metrics, investigating product behaviour and funnels, and combining quantitative and qualitative insight.

Nice to have

• Experience building or running an LLM gateway or proxy, including tools such as LiteLLM or Portkey.
• Experience with products operating both self-hosted and as SaaS.
• Experience building products for technical users, developers and builder communities.
• Experience with third-party APIs, authentication, developer platforms or integration ecosystems.
• Experience working alongside contributors or external ecosystems.
