Senior Fullstack Engineer, Autonomous Defense (Cybersecurity)

Location: US, Remote; up to 5% travel may be required.

Base salary: $195,000–$235,000 annually, plus eligible equity in the form of stock options.

What you will do

• Build and own the durable, resumable agent execution runtime with checkpointing, idempotency, cancellation, timeouts, and long-running workflow support.
• Design the versioned, schema-validated tool layer and connector framework for EDR, firewall, identity, SIEM, and cloud IAM control planes.
• Implement safe-change workflows including simulation, blast-radius classification, approval gates, staged rollout, rollback, and immutable tenant audit trails.
• Build operator-facing React and TypeScript interfaces plus WebSocket-based data and streaming layers for incrementally updating state.
• Extend tenant isolation across execution boundaries, egress, quotas, credentials, caches, indexes, and logs; develop ETL and GraphQL features for agent context and remediation data.
• Instrument agent runs with distributed tracing, tenant-level cost and token accounting, and diagnostics explaining agent decisions; partner with AI researchers, attack engineers, and product.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience using modern object-oriented or functional languages such as Python, Go, Scala, C++, or TypeScript.
• Experience delivering backend APIs, especially GraphQL, and consuming them from a modern web stack.
• Production experience with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS layout, including independently designing usable interfaces for complex workflows.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expert proficiency in SQL.
• Experience designing and operating production distributed systems with asynchronous workflows, queues, retries, idempotency, and partial failure handling.
• Track record of shipping and operating production services, including on-call ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience building agentic or LLM-backed systems in production and handling prompt injection and untrusted input.
• Experience with Temporal or another durable execution/workflow engine, or equivalent self-built checkpointing.
• Experience with multi-tenant platforms, hard isolation, workload identity, and short-lived credential brokering.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs behind normalized abstractions and working with security control-plane APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Neo4j, GraphQL backends, React Query or Apollo, GraphQL subscriptions, and WebSockets.
• Experience building dense, auditable operator or admin interfaces where correct destructive actions matter more than visual polish.
• Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing.
