Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Remote - Oregon, United States. Candidates ideally reside in the Portland, OR area and can commute to the office for monthly team and client meetings.

Salary: $62,700.00–$94,100.00 annually; target compensation $80,000 annually.

What you will do

• Partner with program management, marketing, and IT stakeholders as the primary contact for data and reporting issues.
• Monitor assessment and marketplace transactions, trends, and user behavior to identify improvements to recommendation content and logic.
• Create Power BI reports and dashboards and contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Perform ad hoc and seasonal analysis, sales forecasting, and data pulls for program and marketing initiatives, including re-engagement campaigns.
• Maintain recommendation logic documentation, platform content, data quality, sales records, discount-code data, and system synchronization.
• Design and lead UAT for marketplace and assessment changes, validate data and reporting accuracy, and train team members on reporting functionality and data logic.

Requirements

• Ability to use data analytics as a business thought partner to improve program and marketplace performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of sales, pricing, and program data.
• Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and analytical applications.
• Experience designing business intelligence solutions for program, marketplace, or sales data.
• Deep experience assessing data quality and implementing data-quality improvements.
• Ability to work across platforms and applications, participate in multiple projects, and solve technical and business problems.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in energy efficiency or a related field.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Magento or similar CMS/e-commerce platforms.
• Experience designing and executing UAT for system or platform changes.
• Knowledge of residential building science principles.
