Full Stack Engineer (Java/React)

Location: United States; onshore position.

Compensation: USD 48,000–168,000.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and ship scalable web applications and services across the stack.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js where appropriate.
• Build responsive user interfaces with React.
• Model and manage NoSQL data with attention to performance and scalability.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions, review designs, and uphold engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and DevOps while participating in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and maintaining testing and documentation standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, plus solid experience with Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, or Couchbase.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and automated testing.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and containerization.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools into team workflows.
• Background in performance tuning, security best practices, and observability.
