Senior Director, Cybersecurity Ops

Location: Hybrid in St. Paul, Minnesota, or Hartford, Connecticut, United States

Annual base salary: $157,500–$259,900, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Lead cybersecurity operations and a team of cybersecurity professionals across identification, protection, detection, response, and disruption of cyber events.
• Ensure timely detection, investigation, alerting, and response to attacks, intrusions, anomalous activity, misuse, and vulnerabilities.
• Oversee protective and corrective measures when cybersecurity incidents or vulnerabilities are discovered.
• Define and implement policies and procedures protecting critical infrastructure.
• Lead strategic and tactical planning with internal and external partners across cyber activities.
• Influence leadership support and resources to align cybersecurity strategy with enterprise goals and reduce overall risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; a degree or certificate in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is expected.
• At least 7 years of experience in a technology-related field or role, including 8 years of cybersecurity experience for the ideal candidate.
• At least 1 year of direct people leadership experience, with 2 years of technical leadership and formal team management preferred for the ideal candidate.
• Experience recognizing and categorizing vulnerabilities and associated attacks and applying cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements.
• Broad knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, network security methodologies, cyber threats and vulnerabilities, authentication, authorization, and access control.
• Ability to understand broader technology and business directions and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including consulting on projects and presenting information to all organizational levels.
