Associate Legal Counsel (iGaming)

Location: Global - Remote; São Paulo is also listed as another location. Fully remote applications will be considered; availability to work on a hybrid model and/or relocate to São Paulo, Brazil is an additional advantage.

What you will do

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor, service, marketing, sponsorship, affiliate, NDA, and data-processing contracts.
• Review corporate, regulatory, and commercial documents, maintain the legal library and contract repository, and manage templates, registers, version control, and key dates.
• Support litigation and administrative proceedings by gathering evidence, tracking deadlines, coordinating with external counsel, and preparing case summaries and status reports.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research covering contracts, consumer law, data protection, corporate law, and betting/gaming law, and draft junior-level memos and opinions.
• Support corporate housekeeping, compliance teams, regulatory submissions, audits, certifications, and communications with testing laboratories, regulators, vendors, and certification bodies.
• Handle legal requests from Product, Marketing, Finance, and HR, and prepare reports, dashboards, and updates for leadership and stakeholders under Legal Counsel supervision.

Requirements

• Completed bachelor's degree in Law and active BAR membership.
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken, are mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple certification tracks.
• Analytical mindset and ability to learn technical standards related to software, testing, and gaming.
• Proactive communication skills and ability to liaise across internal teams and external entities.

Nice to have

• Understanding of games, betting, sports, or the iGaming industry.
• Media contract management experience.
• Interest in sports.
• Experience or coursework in contracts and regulatory law, litigation support, or in-house legal routines, including internships.
• Availability to work on a hybrid model and/or relocate to São Paulo, Brazil; fully remote applications will also be considered.
