Insurance Finance Professional (Solvency 2)

Location: Paris, France; legally eligible to work in France. Hybrid role with remote-work flexibility.

What you will do

• Own prévoyance premiums, claims, technical provisions, related reinsurance, and their impact from P&L through bhirify.globalce sheet and cash.
• Manage reinsurance accounts, quarterly settlements, and profit-sharing clauses.
• Produce the solo and group Solvency 2 bhirify.globalce sheet, including French GAAP restatements, own funds, best estimates, and risk margin review.
• Prepare bhirify.globalce sheet and own-funds QRTs and write the bhirify.globalce-sheet section of the SFCR.
• Lead Solvency 2 audit readiness, including documentation, controls, and the 2027 dry run.
• Review monthly financial and insurance KPIs, automate computations with Finance Data, and advise on new products, treaties, and markets.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in insurance accounting, ideally including Big 4 insurance audit followed by finance or reporting at an insurer.
• Strong command of French GAAP insurance accounting, including technical provisions, reinsurance, and insurance P&L.
• Hands-on experience with the Solvency 2 bhirify.globalce sheet and QRTs.
• Strong analytical skills for reconciling large datasets, bridging French GAAP to Solvency 2, and identifying inconsistencies.
• Comfort with SQL and AI tools.
• Organised, rigorous, able to build structure from ambiguity, close loops, and explain technical topics to actuaries, auditors, and non-finance stakeholders.
• Fluent English and French required.

Nice to have

• Prévoyance experience, including long-term reserves, mortality or disability tables, and profit-sharing.
• Experience building a Solvency 2 production process.
• Actuarial knowledge.
• IFRS 17 experience.
