Business Controller

Location: Paris, France. On-site.

Develops software solutions using 3D LiDAR data, spatial intelligence, AI, and real-time analytics to monitor people and vehicle flows across airports, train stations, sports venues, roads, industrial sites, tourism, retail, and automotive applications.

What you will do

• Own weekly revenue forecasting across all sales pipeline stages, invoicing, and cash collection, plus a 12-month rolling cash forecast.
• Prepare monthly executive reporting on key risks and opportunities, and maintain dashboards for bookings, backlog, DSO, and gross margin.
• Track order intake, project backlog, unbilled revenue, accounts receivable, overdue balances, customer disputes, and contract-based invoicing accuracy.
• Provide operational inputs for monthly close, including accruals, unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, and inventory valuation across four international legal entities.
• Oversee expenditure controls, vendor onboarding, bank detail verification, and purchase request approvals within authorization limits.
• Contribute to annual budgets, multi-year financial scenarios, board materials, annual audits, and public grant application files.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in business controlling, FP&A, or financial audit.
• Proven experience managing monthly revenue cycles, rolling cash forecasts, margin analysis, and multi-entity close processes.
• Master’s Degree or equivalent five-year higher education qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration from a recognized university or business school.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Google Sheets or Excel.
• Hands-on experience with modern ERP or CRM platforms such as Pennylane, QuickBooks, HubSpot, or Payhawk.
• Full bilingual fluency at C2 level in English and French for daily collaboration across five international hubs.
