What you will do

• Manage and support Big Data Platform operations.
• Develop prototype algorithms and refine existing algorithms.
• Apply programming, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, and mathematical foundations.
• Support data visualization and analytics across one or more domain areas.
• Contribute to data management, curation, modeling, assessment, workflow, and reproducibility.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for candidates with clearly related in-depth experience.
• Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science.
• A related, physical/hard science, or other science degree may be considered if it has a substantial computational component and advanced mathematics and/or computer science coursework.
• Relevant experience may include machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, advanced mathematical foundations, artificial intelligence, workflow and reproducibility, data management and curation, data modeling and assessment, data science supporting one or more domains, and/or software engineering.
• Experience in more than five of these areas is strongly preferred.
