Electrical Engineering Manager

Location: East Syracuse, NY, United States

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year, plus a target 10% profit-sharing bonus, 401(k) match up to 8%, and possible sign-on bonus or relocation reimbursement.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coach electrical engineers across analog, digital, power, and RF design.
• Create individual development plans and support professional engineering and leadership career tracks.
• Provide senior technical guidance on precision analog design, digital electronics, RF systems, signal processing, power supplies, embedded systems, PCB layout, and compliance.
• Review and approve engineering designs, test plans, and documentation.
• Build breadboard MVPs, validate assumptions with customers, and iterate toward production designs.
• Drive Scrum, Kanban, or similar Agile practices and evaluate emerging component technologies, design methods, and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of electronics engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior technical lead role.
• Hands-on experience with analog and digital circuit design, RF design, and/or high-precision measurement.
• Experience taking products from concept through production and maintaining the product lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with precision analog electronics design.
• Interest in collaborating with physicists, chemists, materials scientists, software engineers, and mechanical engineers.
