Senior Business Analytics & Reporting Manager (BSA/AML)

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, development, production, and implementation of complex departmental and bank-wide reports, analytics, datasets, and data solutions.
• Set standards for reporting development, dataset design, technical documentation, source control, testing, change management, and production implementation.
• Direct data architecture practices covering lineage, source-to-report traceability, reusable structures, performance optimization, environment separation, and solution resiliency.
• Partner with Technology, database administration, infrastructure, data engineering, business partners, and vendors on architecture, connectivity, access, support, and complex issue resolution.
• Support compliance requirements, audits, user recertifications, regulatory changes, information security, and operational risk controls.
• Manage and develop a team of 5 or more direct reports, including staffing, performance management, coaching, and technical capability development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of related business-line experience, or a combined minimum of 11 years of higher education and/or work experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Expert understanding of business functions, processes, operations, and related market trends.
• Technical expertise in SQL Server, relational databases, database connectivity, and linked-server architecture sufficient to guide reporting solutions and evaluate performance or design concerns.
• Experience with data analysis, dataset design, reporting technologies, automation, data architecture, data lineage, source control, and development and testing practices.
• Ability to perform complex data review, research, reconciliation, variance analysis, and judgment-based analysis for strategic decisions.
• Ability to work within data governance, information security, change-management, compliance, audit, and risk-control requirements.
