Director, Product Management (Advanced Location Technologies)

Location: Hybrid in North America, preferably from the Lincolnshire, Illinois or Holtsville, New York office

Salary: $177,920–$266,880 annual, plus a target performance-based cash incentive equal to 25% of base pay.

What you will do

• Lead product definition, planning, and portfolio optimization for the Advanced Location Technologies business unit.
• Develop product growth strategies, revenue targets, gross margin goals, forecasts, and pricing recommendations.
• Analyze market data, customer requirements, competitive conditions, and emerging technologies to identify growth and product opportunities.
• Partner with Product Marketing, engineering, operations, accounting, and other functions to develop business cases, market requirements, concepts, and product specifications.
• Oversee customer, channel partner, and system integrator requirements gathering and validate early product definitions and complex enhancements.
• Support product demonstrations, training programs, collateral, digital content, and other enablement tools for a global product and solutions organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of related experience, including 5+ years in a product management group or function covering full life-cycle product management.
• Enterprise product management and/or relevant consulting or business analysis experience.
• Ability to capture customer and partner requirements and translate them into effective product specifications.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills, including communication with senior management, clients, customers, and partners.
• Ability to assess complex market landscapes and create focused, integrated product and solutions plans.
• Strong understanding of complex products, solutions, systems, financial concepts, P&L, balance sheets, and ROI models.
• Ability to multitask and manage complex programs, think strategically, develop business plans, and execute established plans with adaptability and persistence.
• Advanced market knowledge in the assigned vertical, category, or product line; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
