Government Funding Manager

Location: Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver, Canada; hybrid work with work from home 3 days per week and up to 1 month from anywhere in the world

Base salary: CAD 100,000–120,000 annually, plus bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Contribute to the strategic development of the Government Funding business line and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead the Government Funding consulting team, setting direction, standards, objectives, and performance expectations.
• Coach and develop consultants, strengthen technical capabilities, and promote knowledge sharing and accountability.
• Manage operational performance, including resource allocation, workload management, delivery quality, and profitability.
• Lead complex client engagements and resolve critical delivery challenges while supporting autonomous decision-making.
• Foster a collaborative, high-energy environment focused on initiative, continuous improvement, and ambitious goals.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Government Funding consulting, including team management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive performance, accountability, and team development.
• Solid technical knowledge of Government Funding programs and client engagement delivery.
• Strong business acumen, including project profitability and resource management.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Results-driven, proactive, and comfortable making decisions autonomously.
• Fluency in English is required.
