Senior I&C Engineer (Instrumentation & Controls)

Location: Woodburn, Oregon, US; on-site work is required in active construction and manufacturing environments.

What you will do

• Lead facility-based instrumentation and controls design, automation, programming, and system integration for complex industrial manufacturing environments.
• Develop P&IDs, loop drawings, control panel layouts, sequence of operations, wiring diagrams, and SCADA design packages.
• Design process instrumentation, automated safety systems, life safety networks, and related control solutions.
• Provide sustaining engineering and field support in operational construction and manufacturing plant environments.
• Support proposals, budgets, technical specifications, and project schedules for process-specific control work.
• Present technical solutions, coordinate with clients, and lead small multidisciplinary design teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 6+ years of dedicated Instrumentation and Controls engineering experience in industrial or high-tech facilities.
• Solid understanding of NFPA and UL 508A standards.
• Ability to work on-site in active sustaining construction and manufacturing environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Design experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data center, or advanced technology manufacturing facilities.
• Programming and development experience with PLC, SCADA, and HMI platforms.
• Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity principles and gas and life safety system standards.
• Hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Navisworks.
