Mainframe Automation Support (Hortolândia/SP)

Location: Hortolândia, São Paulo, Brazil; hybrid model. Working hours: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

What you will do

• Administer, monitor, and support mainframe automation tools and ensure automated processes execute successfully.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automation policies, rules, procedures, and workflows.
• Troubleshoot incidents, alerts, and system failures; perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Support software installations, upgrades, maintenance, patching, disaster recovery planning, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate with systems programming teams on z/OS, JES2, CICS, IMS, DB2, and storage-related automation requirements.
• Maintain documentation and runbooks, provide on-call support for critical production environments, and improve operational efficiency while meeting security, audit, and change-management requirements.

Requirements

• Experience administering and supporting IBM System Automation, NetView, OPS/MVS, AutoOPERATOR, CA OPS/MVS, or equivalent mainframe automation products.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Advanced or fluent English.

Nice to have

• Experience configuring IBM Z System Automation for high availability and resilience of critical mainframe workloads.
• Experience using CA-OPS/MVS to reduce manual intervention and improve reliability in mission-critical mainframe environments.
• Mainframe Operations Support, z/OS Administration, System Automation, Incident and Problem Management, REXX automation scripting, Performance Monitoring, Change Management, Root Cause Analysis, Documentation, and Process Improvement.
