Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud Operations)

What you will do

• Design, build, implement, upgrade, and modernize complex servers, systems, and technology platforms across the enterprise infrastructure environment.
• Resolve escalated infrastructure issues and outages through troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, post-mortems, and reliability improvements.
• Strengthen the security, integrity, and confidentiality of infrastructure systems and data.
• Gather requirements and maintain documentation standards for servers, network equipment, and configurations.
• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions, lead recovery-plan testing, and support business continuity.
• Mentor infrastructure professionals, advise stakeholders, automate audits, and recommend efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Significant Infrastructure Engineer experience with Microsoft Windows network environments and systems administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows or macOS and Microsoft Office.
• Significant experience with public cloud solutions, virtualization technologies, and server operating systems.
• Ability to independently lead and deliver large-scale, complex infrastructure projects.
• Significant hands-on enterprise production experience with Citrix, NetApp, and Linux.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex or escalated issues and outages.
• Excellent oral and written communication, data-gathering, interviewing, analytical, problem-solving, customer-service, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Leadership, sound judgment, business and technology acumen, and the ability to mentor, coach, and provide timely feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions and leading recovery-plan testing.
• Experience driving server and environment audits, compliance activities, and audit automation.
• Experience advising stakeholders and leadership across complex infrastructure environments.
• Experience developing and enforcing enterprise documentation standards for server, network, and configuration management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, with success in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
