Lead Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud)

What you will do

• Design, build, implement, upgrade, and modernize complex technology platforms, servers, and systems across the enterprise infrastructure environment.
• Resolve complex or escalated issues and outages through troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, post-mortems, and reliability improvements.
• Improve the security, integrity, and confidentiality of infrastructure systems and data.
• Gather and evaluate system requirements and develop documentation standards for servers, network equipment, and configurations.
• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions, including testing and execution of recovery plans.
• Mentor and coach infrastructure professionals, share best practices, support audit automation, and recommend infrastructure efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Significant Infrastructure Engineer experience with Microsoft Windows network environments and systems administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows or macOS and Microsoft Office.
• Significant experience with public cloud solutions, virtualization technologies, and server operating systems, including independently leading large-scale, complex infrastructure projects.
• Significant hands-on enterprise production experience with Citrix, NetApp, and Linux.
• Excellent oral and written communication, data gathering, interviewing, analytical, problem-solving, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Leadership, sound judgment, and business and technology acumen, with the ability to mentor, coach, and provide timely feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions and leading disaster recovery testing and execution.
• Experience driving server and environment audits, compliance with standards and configuration guidelines, and audit automation.
• Experience advising stakeholders and leadership across complex infrastructure environments.
• Experience developing and enforcing documentation standards for server, network, and configuration management at enterprise scale.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, with a record of succeeding in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
