What you will do

• Guide customers through competitive landscapes, best practices, implementation strategies, and Databricks solutions for business problems.
• Lead, build, hire, onboard, mentor, and support a high-performing team of Solution Architects in a high-growth environment.
• Drive customer outcomes through production applications and increased adoption of APIs and platforms.
• Partner with sales teams on account strategies, technical win strategies, and technical account management for strategic customers.
• Engage end-user and developer communities to understand needs and tailor solutions.
• Build technical champions and manage workloads and consumption with sales, product, and engineering counterparts.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in the data space with a technical product, such as data warehousing, big data, cloud infrastructure, or machine learning.
• 5+ years of experience building and leading technical customer-facing teams, including hiring, onboarding, and supporting team members.
• Extensive experience, often 5+ years, in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, networking, and IT development or consulting within software or internet industries.
• Strong understanding of digital native business models and their technology and business requirements.
• Experience in pre-sales activities, including solution design and business value selling.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both in-person and in writing.
• Ability to navigate complex technical environments and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience owning C-level alignment in accounts to guide strategic decisions.
• Ability to develop a team vision around the unique nature of digital native businesses.
