Engineering Manager (AI/Agentic Engineering)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers across Data, Software, and Web Solution Engineering squads, including career paths, upskilling, performance management, staffing, and allocation.
• Own technical hiring with HR, define role profiles, build the pipeline, and run interview loops.
• Stay close to code and architecture while defining standards for secure and maintainable engineering, code review, testing, CI/CD, observability, documentation, and reusable Golden Paths.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted and agentic workflows, including coding assistants, agent-driven automation, code generation, automated review, and test generation.
• Establish AI governance covering security, IP protection, confidentiality, dependency hygiene, and human review of generated code.
• Ensure reliable delivery, technical-debt reduction, cloud and data cost efficiency, engineering metrics, budget ownership, and reporting to the Head of Engineering & Infrastructure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software, Cloud, or Data engineering, combining hands-on technical leadership with people management as a Tech Lead, Tech Lead Manager, or Engineering Manager.
• Strong engineering, technical leadership, or architecture background across AWS and/or Azure and modern software and DevOps practices.
• Practical experience with Snowflake or an equivalent modern data environment, including pipelines, modeling, and governance.
• Credible practical understanding of AI-assisted and agentic engineering and its impact on engineering-team organization.
• Proven Agile practice using Scrum and/or Kanban in a product-oriented delivery context.
• Strong software-quality culture covering Clean Code, TDD, code review, observability, and applicative FinOps.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect technical teams with business stakeholders through influence and trust.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French are mandatory for local collaboration and global documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience introducing AI coding assistants or agent-based workflows into a production engineering team.
• Hands-on background as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or DevOps/SRE.
• Exposure to product-oriented operating models such as “you build it, you run it” and Team Topologies.
• Understanding of secure-by-design and applicative FinOps principles.
