hirify.global is an industrial-focused venture platform that co-founds and invests in companies transforming industrial operations through software and AI. Its portfolio includes 22+ companies serving more than 100,000 users across 3,600+ factories.

What you will do

• Lead the technical strategy, architecture, and product foundation for a new company built with OSS.
• Ensure scalable, secure, maintainable technology delivery in an ambiguous early-stage environment.
• Shape engineering practices and make technical and product decisions with the CEO.
• Hire, mentor, and structure the initial technical team.
• Support fundraising through clear technical narratives and investor discussions.
• Build toward a production product, 5–10 paying customers, approximately €500K+ ARR or equivalent signed revenue, and technical foundations ready for scale within 9–12 months.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience, including strong production experience and ownership of significant technical decisions.
• 5+ years of team leadership experience, including managing engineers, hiring, mentoring, and shaping early technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build in ambiguous early-stage contexts, make trade-offs under constraints, and align technical direction with business needs.
• Technical execution and delivery capability, with consistent results and the ability to translate strategy into action.
• Founder energy, resilience, urgency, bias for action, intellectual honesty, and sustained performance through setbacks.
• In the founding pair, the CEO and CTO must collectively cover complex B2B sales authority, including €50K+ deals, long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and senior decision-makers.
• Full-time commitment is required for 12–18 months without salary.

• Product judgment and the ability to translate customer problems into prioritized product requirements.
• Understanding of industrial and operational software buyers and their purchasing constraints.
• Ability to articulate a compelling vision to investors and handle technical and strategic objections.
• Strategic discipline in balancing long-term and short-term trade-offs.

Hiring process

• Process includes People-team conversations, a CEO discovery meeting, a technical product business case with the CTO, Head of Product, and Head of Design, and a term sheet presentation.
• Several reference checks are required, followed by a final GO/NO GO decision and up to one week for discovery and choice of space.
