Senior Director, Human Resources

Location: Hybrid, with primary locations in Mettawa, Illinois or Vonore, Tennessee; supports multi-site U.S. and international operations, including Portugal.

What you will do

• Serve as the senior HR leader and strategic advisor to the Presidents of Sea Ray and Venture Group.
• Lead workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, strategic staffing, and leadership pipeline development.
• Build leadership capability and improve organizational design, accountability, team effectiveness, and performance.
• Resolve complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance issues, restructurings, workforce reductions, and sensitive employment situations.
• Lead HR strategy for transformations, restructurings, acquisitions, integrations, operational changes, and cross-border workforce matters.
• Lead and develop HR teams supporting Sea Ray, NAVAN, Venture Group, BIMC, Tellico, and Portugal operations.

Requirements

• Experience providing senior HR leadership across corporate functions, shared services, manufacturing operations, and international teams.
• Ability to advise senior business leaders, shape business strategy, and provide clear, practical recommendations.
• Expertise in workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development.
• Experience managing complex employee relations matters, investigations, performance management, restructurings, workforce reductions, and organizational risk.
• Ability to assess legal, business, employee, and reputational risks and develop compliant, defensible solutions.
• Experience supporting international HR operations and cross-border workforce matters, including local employment-law compliance.
• Strong judgment, business acumen, communication, risk assessment, and change leadership skills.
• Experience leading, developing, and succession-planning HR teams.
