Director, Product Management - Agentic Core Platform & Interface (AI)

Location: Boston or Chicago, United States; London, United Kingdom; São Paulo, Brazil; or Warsaw, Poland.

Annual full-time salary: $204,750–$245,750 in Massachusetts or $196,000–$235,250 in Illinois, plus discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Own the 6–12 month product vision and roadmap for the Growth AI Performance System Agentic Core and Interface.
• Translate the needs of marketing ROI, brand strategy, and pricing and commercial analytics modules into reusable platform capabilities and a coherent backlog.
• Define agentic workflows, retrieval and knowledge capabilities, evaluation infrastructure, interface standards, and platform readiness priorities.
• Run discovery and structured research with Expert Consultants, field specialists, senior stakeholders, and clients; define impact metrics and validate direction through prototypes.
• Lead deployment readiness and feedback loops across engineering and consulting teams.
• Present product direction to senior stakeholders and manage relationships across practice leadership, case teams, clients, and Bain’s technology organization; direct people-management duties may include recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of product management experience, including significant work on AI-powered, data platform, or developer-facing products.
• Direct product leadership experience, including leading teams delivering AI/ML-enabled products and direct management experience where the role includes reports.
• Experience owning a platform or shared-infrastructure roadmap serving multiple downstream teams and maintaining a long-term product vision.
• Client-facing or consulting-adjacent product experience involving real commercial problems and senior stakeholders.
• Deep technical fluency in AI and agentic systems, including the ability to make product decisions at the intersection of product strategy and platform architecture.
• Experience with AI-powered, developer-facing, or data platform products; agentic AI systems, LLM-powered applications, or advanced analytics platforms.
• Strong data literacy, including defining and interpreting AI-platform metrics.
• Familiarity with marketing ROI and media measurement, brand and consumer analytics, or pricing and revenue growth management.
• Strong product craft, including feature specifications, acceptance criteria, structured discovery, and engineering documentation; experience with agile delivery practices.
• Active use of AI-assisted tools for research, documentation, synthesis, and prototype development, with commitment to staying current.
