Localization AI Content Specialist

Location: Remote from Spain, Barcelona; occasional travel; day shift.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, govern, and continuously optimize AI-powered localization solutions, including machine translation, generative AI, prompt workflows, and autonomous AI agents.
• Manage translation platforms, localization technologies, linguistic assets, translation memories, terminology databases, prompt libraries, and AI training datasets.
• Build and maintain AI agents and automation workflows for multilingual content creation, localization, quality assurance, and delivery.
• Partner with Digital, IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners to evaluate, implement, benchmark, and scale AI-enabled localization solutions.
• Establish localization standards, SOPs, governance frameworks, quality evaluation methods, automated scoring, LQA, terminology compliance, and linguistic monitoring.
• Analyze localization and AI performance metrics, troubleshoot complex technology and workflow issues, evaluate emerging technologies, and support responsible AI, risk management, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Content, or a related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience in localization, language technology, content operations, or multilingual content management.
• Hands-on experience with Translation Management Systems and localization technologies.
• Familiarity with machine translation, generative AI tools, large language models, and AI-assisted content workflows.
• Experience creating and refining prompts, reviewing and annotating AI-generated or machine-translated content, and improving quality, consistency, and terminology compliance.
• Understanding of translation memory management, terminology management, and localization quality practices.
• Ability to analyze localization and quality data, identify trends, measure performance, and support process improvements.
• Familiarity with CMS, DAM, PIM, and related digital content platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with Marketing, Digital, IT, and external vendors; curiosity and willingness to learn emerging AI, automation, and localization technologies.
• Professional proficiency in English required.

• Experience supporting system integrations, workflow automation, or localization process optimization initiatives.
• Interest in building, testing, or supporting AI agents, copilots, chatbots, or workflow automation solutions.
• Additional languages.
