Senior Full-Stack Developer (Next.js)

What you will do

• Build and ship end-to-end features across a Next.js App Router client and Fastify + Payload CMS backend in a TypeScript monorepo.
• Implement feature flags, A/B experiments, localization, and third-party billing, email/CRM, and analytics integrations through REST APIs and webhooks.
• Develop unit, integration, and e2e tests; review code, fix bugs, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Optimize rendering, caching, database queries, endpoint performance, and bundle size.
• Apply schema validation, access control, secure secret handling, structured logging, metrics, and alerts.
• Break down, estimate, implement, release, and monitor tasks independently while communicating risks and escalating architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial React experience, including 1+ year with Next.js App Router, Server Components, route handlers, rendering, and caching strategies, plus solid TypeScript.
• Node.js backend experience with Fastify, Nest, or Express and PostgreSQL, including REST API design, schema migrations, REST and webhook integrations, signature verification, idempotency, and retries.
• Working knowledge of HTTP/REST, authentication mechanisms, and web security fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with TanStack Query, Zustand, React Hook Form, Zod, Tailwind CSS, and a React component library such as HeroUI, MUI, or shadcn/ui.
• Experience with a code-first headless CMS on PostgreSQL, such as Payload, Strapi, or Directus, including collections, access control, generated types, and migrations.
• Experience with Cypress or Playwright e2e testing, Vitest or Jest unit/integration testing, Git flow, code review, and CI.
• Daily use of AI development tools such as Claude Code, including project configuration, context, instructions, rules, MCP, and integrations, with ownership of generated code quality, security, and correctness.
• English at B1+ level is required.
• Ability to work autonomously, own outcomes through production, communicate risks and estimate changes in writing, verify code before trusting it, and escalate architectural or security decisions.
