Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js & Vue)

Location: Primary location is Minsk, Belarus; onsite, remote, and hybrid work formats are available.

IDT Technologies and National Retail Solutions build point-of-sale, payment, and digital solutions for independent retailers and are expanding into restaurant technology.

What you will do

• Architect and deliver restaurant-facing services across data models, APIs, and merchant interfaces.
• Build kitchen displays and order-management screens used by restaurant staff during service.
• Extend and harden production services while maintaining correctness under concurrency, retries, and partial failures.
• Develop offline-capable clients with local state, synchronization, reconnect handling, and conflict reconciliation.
• Implement queues, background jobs, streaming, and event-driven workflows, and support safe releases at scale.
• Shape product direction with product managers and designers, provide technical direction, and review other engineers’ code.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of full-stack product development experience, including senior-level ownership.
• Deep Node.js and TypeScript experience, REST API design, microservices, and production service architecture.
• Strong relational database skills with PostgreSQL or MySQL, including schema design, indexing, query tuning, and transactions; familiarity with Redis or MongoDB.
• Experience with queues and streaming systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kinesis, SQS, or BullMQ, including ordering, duplicates, replay, and consumer lag.
• Vue experience with component architecture, state management, and progressive web applications; real-time interfaces using WebSockets or Socket.IO.
• Linux, Git, CI/CD, horizontally scalable services, production debugging, and excellent written and spoken English for daily communication with teams in the United States and Israel.

Nice to have

• Experience with React or Angular.
• Experience working with PHP codebases.
• Experience using AI tools across software design, implementation, refactoring, and code review.
