Principal AI Solution Architect (Agentic Development Lifecycle)

What you will do

• Own and evolve the Solution Architecture role, plugins, worker packages, and gate checks within the internal agentic platform, contributing to CLI, controller, and CI workflows.
• Lead presales and discovery architecture for US/EU clients, including estimates, architecture briefs, ADRs, and client-facing readiness packages.
• Run hands-on agentic pilots across 2–3 delivery projects, auditing codebases, configuring CLAUDE.md and MCP tooling, and proving cycle-time improvements.
• Establish standards for spec-first development, reusable agent templates, and automated review and testing pipelines.
• Build training programs from Foundation to Lead, mentor tech champions, and run technical office hours.
• Define and track delivery metrics including cycle time, agent-produced code, defect rates, and EVM impact for the CTO.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years as a Solutions Architect or Tech Lead delivering commercial systems for US/EU clients.
• Strong experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, AWS, and legacy or brownfield codebases.
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, plus hands-on fluency in at least one enterprise stack: Python, Java/Kotlin, .NET, or React.
• 12+ months of daily, production-grade coding-agent development using Claude Code, with shipped features and at least one measurable agentic SDLC rollout across a team of 5+ engineers.
• Practical knowledge of multi-agent patterns, including single-loop, planner/executor, orchestrators, swarms, and agentic RAG; experience building custom MCP servers and clients with robust tool schemas, authentication, and sandboxing.
• Feature-level knowledge of the Anthropic stack, including Claude Code, Agent SDK, headless runs, hooks, subagents, prompt caching, memory, and permission modes; working knowledge of OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph, and CrewAI.
• Experience with spec-driven delivery using OpenSpec, Spec Kit, or BMAD, plus agent quality engineering with automated evaluations, LLM-as-a-judge, tracing, prompt regression testing, and security guardrails.
• Ability to run technical discovery, create architectural visions with ADRs and NFR targets, prepare WBS-based estimates, and defend technical choices directly to clients.
• Experience running technical workshops, upskilling engineers, assessing competencies, and driving organizational change. Fluent English at B2+ level is required for client demos and debates.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Machine Learning Specialty certification.
• Open-source contributions, custom plugins, MCP servers, or technical articles about agentic engineering.
• Experience with design-to-code pipelines such as Figma MCP, visual regression, or Playwright.
• Experience delivering projects under outcome-based or fixed-price models.
• Exposure to LLM compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or HIPAA.
