Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working requires attendance in the office or on client site at least 2 days per week, with some assignments requiring up to 5 days per week on a client site.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance cloud infrastructure for digital services.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, repositories, build automation, orchestration, and environment automation.
• Implement microservices, containers, serverless functions, virtual machines, cloud networking, storage, and firewall configuration.
• Develop logging, monitoring, alerting, high availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Work according to agile practices with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to solve technical problems.
• Coach and mentor team members, contribute to bids and proposals, support account management, and present solutions to clients.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of DevOps experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in architecture and knowledge of software development processes, including ownership across one or more pods and implementation of robust methods and patterns.
• Experience maintaining regular client communication and acting as a key project engagement point.
• Consulting skills and experience contributing to account management.
• Applicants for relevant UK roles must meet the required security-clearance conditions: British citizenship or at least 5 years of continuous UK residency may be required.
• All employees must complete background checks and achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard.

Hiring process

• Initial call with a technology recruiter.
• Two 60-minute competency or technical interviews, covering both formats across the two rounds.
• Final 60-minute meeting with a PA leader, including a mini case study and discussion of client-centricity.
