DevOps Engineer - HR Tech

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire, United Kingdom; hybrid work

Salary: £52,200–£59,400 per year

What you will do

• Create and modify Infrastructure-as-Code to provision and configure cloud resources across IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions.
• Automate development, test, pre-production, and production environments and manage YAML-based CI/CD build, deployment, and release pipelines.
• Maintain environment consistency, source code management, branching strategies, and Git repositories.
• Monitor applications, servers, and services; support performance and volume testing and troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
• Document high-level and low-level cloud solutions and provide cloud expertise to project teams.
• Apply DevSecOps principles, collaborate with audit and security teams, and coordinate with developers, QA analysts, and project managers in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, specifically Terraform.
• Strong Microsoft Azure and container orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Artifacts, Boards, YAML CI/CD pipelines, and Repositories.
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts, best practices, and Agile principles.
• Experience working with the three main cloud providers, with Azure preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
• PowerShell and Bash scripting experience.
• Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL databases, and CosmosDB.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers and using Git for source control management.

Nice to have

• Microservices experience.
• DevSecOps tooling such as SonarCloud, Veracode, or CrowdStrike.
• Docker containers, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
