Content Creator Apprenticeship - Level 3 - BBC Sounds - Social Media - Music - London

Location: London Broadcasting House; candidates must live within a commutable distance and be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK. The role includes travel to in-person learning blocks and apprenticeship-related activities where necessary.

Salary: £24,650 plus £5,441 London weighting.

What you will do

• Create trusted, high-quality content for hirify.global audiences, with a main focus on Music networks.
• Research, write, produce, and edit content across different subjects and formats.
• Monitor audience trends and create content for social media platforms, including selecting and editing programme clips.
• Identify opportunities for short clips, behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, and talent-led extras.
• Collaborate with experienced social media publishers, editors, creators, and specialist teams.
• Attend on- and off-the-job learning blocks while working toward the Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship qualification.

Requirements

• Fresh, creative ideas for engaging new audiences.
• Genuine interest in content across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Adaptability to work across serious issue-based content and high-energy entertainment.
• Organisation, motivation, collaboration, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for self-development and the discipline and commitment required to complete the apprenticeship.
• Aged 18 or over by the apprenticeship start in September 2027.
• Continuous UK residence for the three years before the apprenticeship starts.
• Full-time UK work eligibility for the entire 15-month apprenticeship.
• Must not be enrolled in another apprenticeship. The scheme is aimed at non-graduates and requires no prior learning.
• Candidates under 19 on 8 September 2027 must have, or obtain before the end-point assessment, Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or above, National 5 at C, Functional Skills Level 2, or an equivalent qualification.
