Hebrew Multimedia Content Reviewer (Part time)

What you will do

• Localize, translate, adapt, and create content for music, film, gaming, sports, applications, and other multimedia products.
• Review and copy-edit linguistic content, fact-check information, annotate materials, and perform LQA testing on live platforms.
• Research local content, terminology, cultural trends, and localization practices for the Hebrew market.
• Transcribe spoken content, including lyrics, and report on data and media assets.
• Review linguistic assessments, create training materials, and train localization counterparts on terminology, style, and best practices.
• Collaborate with global language teams through virtual meetings and email to calibrate terminology, style, translations, and market insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or copy-editing media content such as music, television, and applications, with writing samples.
• Native-level or fully bilingual written and spoken Hebrew.
• Experience translating and localizing multimedia content.
• Creative writing skills and the ability to detect issues and inconsistencies across large volumes of content and make sound judgments.
• Broad knowledge of music artists, television, cinema, gaming, and pop culture, with the ability to make confident linguistic decisions for the language market.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Strong computer literacy; knowledge of iOS and macOS systems is a plus.
• Ability to type in Hebrew using a local English keyboard.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while collaborating in a multicultural environment.
