Director, Asia Equity Finance & Delta One

Location: Singapore, SGP. The role is based at One Raffles Place and requires legal eligibility to work in Singapore, including a valid work or study permit where applicable.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategy for the Asia Equity Finance & Delta One business.
• Build and manage a profitable franchise across stock lending, borrowing, equity swaps, total return swaps, and other financing solutions.
• Establish senior relationships with asset managers, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds, and other institutional investors across Asia-Pacific.
• Optimize firm and client inventory, source securities through beneficial owners and market intermediaries, and improve internalization and monetization.
• Partner with Sales, Prime Services, Equity Derivatives, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Treasury to deliver scalable financing solutions.
• Lead platform development, automation, governance, risk controls, operational scalability, and team growth.

Requirements

• Extensive front-office experience in Equity Finance, Securities Lending, Delta One Trading, or Equity Derivatives.
• Proven track record of building and growing financing, securities lending, or Delta One businesses.
• Deep understanding of Asian equity markets, securities financing, and synthetic products.
• Strong institutional client network across Asia-Pacific.
• Strong understanding of RWA, leverage, NSFR/LCR, and other resource constraints.
• Ability to generate significant revenues while effectively managing risk and resources.
• Strong leadership, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience operating within a regulated banking environment.
