Midrange Specialist Engineer (Japanese Speaker)

What you will do

• Provide technical expertise for midrange infrastructure services, including Windows, Linux, Oracle, storage, backup, and business continuity.
• Administer technology areas across system design, build, security, performance, availability, and operations.
• Support ITSM processes including incident, problem, change, configuration, release, and capacity management.
• Integrate technical expertise with business understanding to develop solutions for customers with complex multinational structures.
• Contribute to quality and productivity improvement projects through analysis and documentation.
• Provide training and documentation on areas of expertise and new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
• 4–5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure operations support, operations monitoring, and end-user support.
• Professional certification or expertise in one or more of Windows, Linux, VMware, Oracle VM, SQL, EMC, or NetApp.
• Excellent Japanese communication skills, certified at JLPT Level 1/N1 or BJT J2.
• Strong understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes; ITIL training is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability and willingness to work collaboratively.
• Ability to work independently with limited or no supervision, adapt to change, and perform under high pressure.
• Willingness to work flexibly according to business requirements.
