Product Designer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per week in the San Francisco or Toronto office hubs.

Salary: San Francisco $161.5K–$190K plus equity; Toronto CA$140K–CA$165K plus equity.

What you will do

• Own design for a scoped feature or product surface from user research through delivery.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand internal and external user needs.
• Design cohesive user flows, interactions, and polished interfaces using design-system components.
• Improve design-system consistency, accessibility, clarity, and visual design patterns.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and machine learning researchers to ship features quickly.
• Present design work clearly and connect design decisions to product vision and strategy.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software product design, specifically building user-centric B2B products.
• Proven experience building interfaces for AI products.
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Strong qualitative user research skills and professional writing ability.
• Execution mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience using, contributing to, or managing design systems.
• Experience working on complex data visualizations.
