What you will do

• Own critical projects end to end, converting ambiguous priorities into plans, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering results.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, reporting, purchasing, vendor management, and operational decisions.
• Work with external counsel and advisors on contracts, compliance, and corporate matters.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and HR processes.
• Build simple, scalable operating systems using AI and automation where useful.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, resolve urgent issues, and take ownership across functions.

Requirements

• Track record of making difficult things happen with limited direction or resources.
• Strong understanding of budgets, contracts, hiring processes, and operational tradeoffs, with judgment about when to involve specialists.
• Structured, pragmatic problem-solving skills and the ability to learn unfamiliar topics quickly and turn ambiguity into action.
• Outstanding judgment, discretion with sensitive information, and clear communication with founders, colleagues, and external partners.
• Generalist mindset with comfort handling both strategy and execution across functions.

Nice to have

• Experience as an early startup operator, founder, chief of staff, or in a demanding finance, consulting, or business-operations environment.
