Supplier Quality Engineer (BEV Powertrain Development)

Location: Liszki, near Krakow, Poland. The role requires approximately 70% business travel to the EU and Asia.

What you will do

• Support customer supplier sourcing and nomination.
• Lead supplier APQP and PPAP management, including supplier quality process establishment.
• Improve supplier quality performance and manage serial suppliers after SOP to resolve quality issues.
• Support supplier cost reduction and VAVE activities.
• Coordinate potential supplier audits and prepare lean production improvement reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• At least 4–5 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in the automotive industry.
• Experience with supplier management methodologies, including approval and qualification of new suppliers and parts.
• Experience managing quality processes and establishing procedures.
• Experience with APQP and PPAP management.
• Experience with process and product audits, including IATF16949, VDA6.3, and VDA6.5.
• Experience in powertrain development projects, particularly Battery Electric Vehicles, is highly appreciated.
• Excellent command of English.
