Senior Lead Engineer, Process Engineering (Boiler and Gasification)

Location: Warsaw or Gliwice, Poland; global travel for 20–40 days per year, with a focus on Poland, Germany, and Czechia.

What you will do

• Act as a technical expert for fluidized bed boilers, gasification, auxiliary systems, equipment, and process engineering, including Balance of Plant.
• Define technical concepts, assess main equipment capacities, design process systems, and prepare technical proposal documentation during the sales phase.
• Perform calculations, prepare equipment inquiry specifications, and conduct process design work.
• Lead hazard and risk analyses and manage technical communication and documentation.
• Coordinate process engineering activities with customers, sub-suppliers, and other disciplines during project delivery.
• Provide theoretical training to customer operators and support the commissioning team during site activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in thermal, energy and environmental, chemical, or process engineering.
• Expertise in combustion, boiler processes, and auxiliary systems and equipment.
• Excellent English skills, required because of global project locations.
• Willingness to travel globally for 20–40 days per year, primarily to Poland, Germany, and Czechia.
• Systematic working style, effective prioritization, and ability to work in dynamic project environments.
• Ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide clear and concise technical recommendations.
• Ability to perform detailed calculations while understanding the broader project context, plan and prioritize tasks independently, seek support when needed, and deliver results within tight project schedules.
