GT Controls Project Engineer (Gas Turbine Controls)

What you will do

• Execute and control the complete gas turbine controls scope for combined-cycle power plant projects.
• Clarify process requirements and interfaces across gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems.
• Lead project-specific software and hardware solutions and coordinate implementation across open- and closed-loop engineering teams.
• Create hardware specifications for instrumentation and control equipment.
• Deliver functional software and hardware solutions on time while maintaining quality, budget, customer requirements, and design requirements.
• Represent the gas turbine controls scope in project and customer meetings and provide qualified site support during erection and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in control-system engineering and/or commissioning, preferably in the energy business.
• Good knowledge of state-of-the-art control-system hardware.
• Professional software-engineering experience with SPPA-T3000, PCS7, or an equivalent operating environment.
• Good command of English and German.
• Openness to new technologies and working styles, with a team-oriented, ownership-driven, and results-oriented approach.
• Willingness to implement innovative solutions in global interdisciplinary teams.
