Software QA Engineer 2 (C++/Python)

What you will do

• Develop and improve automated test cases, sample applications, testing tools, and frameworks for hirify.global SDK libraries and low-level C++ software.
• Build and enhance Python- and Groovy-based infrastructure for building, testing, and demonstrating hirify.global sample applications.
• Monitor test infrastructure, analyze automation failures, improve reliability, and optimize runtime performance.
• Partner with software production and offshore teams on test plans, validation strategies, and documentation.
• Define scalable automation and infrastructure patterns and contribute to architecture for systems spanning C++, embedded firmware, and Python.
• Identify technical risks early and drive mitigation strategies to protect release confidence.

Requirements

• Strong programming proficiency in Python and C++, with experience using PyTest and GTest.
• Experience building, running, and debugging software in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Deep understanding of automation trade-offs and architectural design decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including presenting technical direction to engineers and executives.
• Self-directed approach, commitment to strong results, and passion for high-quality automation.

Nice to have

• Exposure to the Android platform, including SDK, tooling, and architecture.
• Prior hirify.global SDK development experience.
• Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or other game engine technology.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience leading complex debugging efforts.
