Senior Data Analyst

Location: United Kingdom; candidates must live within reasonable travelling distance of a hirify.global office and be open to working at a hirify.global office or client site at least 2 days per week.

What you will do

• Extract actionable insights from multiple large data sources and communicate them through reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Engage client stakeholders, understand business needs and translate them into clear analytical requirements.
• Identify opportunities for predictive modelling, machine learning and other advanced analytics techniques.
• Apply robust statistical methods, data analysis and visualisation techniques, including business intelligence tools.
• Assess data platforms and pipelines conceptually and identify data quality issues.
• Support analyst recruitment and onboarding, mentor consultants and promote analytical work through blogs, case studies and workshops.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a data analyst with extensive experience exploring and presenting data for users.
• Expert skills in data cleansing, analysis, modelling and visualisation using Tableau, Power BI or Looker Studio.
• Experience working with large, complex data warehouses and/or data lakes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in SQL and languages such as R or Python, including relevant frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to advise on complex client requirements.
• Mentoring and coaching skills with a passion for upskilling junior analysts.
• Candidates must be open and flexible to travel and work at a hirify.global office or client site at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Public sector or consultancy experience.
• Experience with automated data pipeline tools such as dbt or Airflow.
