Mortgage Loan Processor (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role with 90% of time working from home and 1–3 days per month in the Tempe office; candidates must reside in the greater Phoenix area.

What you will do

• Build rapport with borrowers, make welcome calls, and provide updates throughout the loan process.
• Enter data from borrower documentation into the Loan Origination System (LOS) and review files for completeness.
• Manage a daily pipeline of 70–80 approved loans while meeting required SLAs.
• Complete third-party employment validation and review credit profiles for completeness and eligibility.
• Track borrower and vendor documents and collaborate with the team to confirm all loan conditions are met.
• Identify improvements to the borrowing process.

Requirements

• 5 years of mortgage processing experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a continually changing environment and manage a high-volume pipeline within required SLAs.
• Ability to multitask and move quickly between job functions.
• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and a positive attitude.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday from 9:00am–5:00pm.
• Must reside in the greater Phoenix area.
