Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

hirify.global delivers client cybersecurity projects through its Services department and Project Management practice.

What you will do

• Manage small, medium, and large cybersecurity projects from planning through closeout using PMO processes.
• Review statements of work, create project plans, coordinate resources, and track prerequisites, deliverables, schedules, and bookings.
• Lead internal and external kickoffs, status meetings, project reviews, and closeout meetings.
• Maintain weekly project status, notes, dates, technical resource schedules, timesheets, and invoices in the PSA tool.
• Own project success, communicate and escalate risks, and coordinate team members to improve meeting efficiency and delivery value.
• Support customer surveys, utilization targets, teamwork, and other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience managing and completing cybersecurity projects, preferably including GRC and Red Team work.
• Experience with NIST or HIPAA assessments, cloud security assessments, or PCI ROC assessments.
• Prior client-facing experience and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Knowledge of project types, methodologies, PMO best practices, and frameworks such as PMBOK.
• Basic technical knowledge of cloud, IT infrastructure, analytics, and cybersecurity, plus common technical terminology and implementation methods.
• Strong ethical and critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving, organizational, time-management, prioritization, delegation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods, work at a computer, and lift up to 15 pounds at times.
