Staff Technical Program Manager (AI Platform)

What you will do

• Own strategy and execution for high-priority platform and trust initiatives across multiple engineering organizations.
• Align platform investments with business strategy and influence technical direction with architecture and engineering leaders.
• Lead portfolio planning, sequencing, prioritization, executive governance, quarterly planning, and investment reviews.
• Establish operating mechanisms for dependency management, decision-making, delivery metrics, and execution predictability.
• Anticipate organizational risks, drive mitigation, and improve engineering effectiveness through scalable practices, automation, AI-assisted workflows, and continuous improvement.
• Coach Senior TPMs and establish technical program management standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale technical programs across multiple engineering organizations.
• Ability to influence architecture, organizational priorities, and executive decisions without direct authority.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, infrastructure, security, identity, observability, and modern software architecture.
• Experience managing multi-year technology transformation initiatives with complex organizational dependencies.
• Exceptional executive communication skills, including presentations to VP and C-level audiences.
• Strong business acumen and ability to connect technical investments to measurable customer and business outcomes.
• Expertise in program governance, delivery metrics, portfolio reporting, and organizational operating mechanisms.
• Experience using AI to improve engineering planning, execution, communication, and operational efficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience leading platform modernization or cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience building or scaling TPM organizations and developing engineering operating models.
• Enterprise SaaS, AI platform, analytics platform, or cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, platform integrations, or large-scale technical transformations.
• PMP, SAFe, Scrum, AWS, Azure, or GCP certification.
