Lead Analytics Engineer (Finance Data/FinOps)

What you will do

• Partner with Treasury, Reconciliation, and Accounting on processes, priorities, and data needs.
• Build trusted treasury data products covering positions, cash flows, and liquidity.
• Scale reconciliation so matching, breaks, and exceptions are handled systematically.
• Provide data, checks, and integrations for Accounting’s close and daily work, while supporting corporate finance and investor reporting through shared models and definitions.
• Design and evolve Finance data models, entities, metrics, tests, lineage, documentation, standards, and quality checks.
• Build integrations and introduce automation and agents where they remove recurring manual work; connect data initiatives to business cost and value.

Requirements

• Experience in or close partnership with Finance, particularly treasury, reconciliation, accounting, or FP&A data work.
• Understanding of financial processes including close, cash and liquidity, reconciliations, and related reporting.
• Expert SQL skills and strong dimensional or semantic data modelling skills.
• Experience building metrics and data products used by other teams.
• ETL and data warehouse or lakehouse experience, including onboarding sources end to end.
• Ability to prioritize precision over speed when they conflict.
• Consultative approach: understand business processes, propose solutions, and frame them in terms of business value.
• Professional working English is required.

Nice to have

• Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Experience integrating ERP, accounting, banking, or treasury systems.
• Workflow automation or agents in finance processes.
• CI/CD, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Background in fintech, banking, or payments.
