Software and AI Engineer (AI)

Location: Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Bellevue, WA

Base salary: $153,000–$204,000 per year, with discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits based on eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop AI agents and copilots for Finance, Billing, Supply Chain, and other internal teams using AI frameworks and APIs.
• Design and build first-party web and mobile applications with React and TypeScript.
• Develop scalable Node.js and Go backend services for data processing, orchestration, and automation.
• Integrate ERP, HRIS, MRP, PDM, DCIM, and data warehouse systems through native integrations or Workato and Boomi.
• Build APIs, microservices, and event-driven application architectures with observability, maintainability, and security.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Security, Engineering, and other business stakeholders to create user-centered workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of programming experience in C++, Go, C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python building production-grade cloud services.
• 3+ years of scripting experience in Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and event-driven integration architectures.
• Experience building and deploying production-grade applications and microservices.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, container orchestration, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with modern backend and frontend technologies; relevant technologies include React, TypeScript, Node.js, Go, FastAPI, Next.js, Kestrel, and gRPC.
• Familiarity with generative AI frameworks and APIs such as LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI, or Glean.
• Motivation to build user-facing tools that improve business productivity and employee experience.
• Applicants must satisfy U.S. export-control access requirements as a U.S. person, an authorized person, or a person eligible and reasonably likely to obtain the required authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping production-grade AI, ML, or LLM applications at scale.
• Experience developing AI-powered or agentic applications integrated with enterprise data.
• Familiarity with Ray, Kafka, Spark, Workato, or Boomi.
• Exposure to Finance, Supply Chain, or other operational domains.
• Experience with Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT Codex.
