Senior Software Product Owner (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid work with on-site attendance three days per week in Northridge, CA or San Diego, CA, United States.

Salary: $124,000–$212,000 USD annually for roles located in California.

What you will do

• Define priorities and evolve the Shared Services platform as a product by balancing internal and external stakeholder input.
• Support 1–2 Scrum teams and build, groom, and maintain the product backlog, including epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as the technical liaison among platform teams, software developers, operations teams, business customers, Scrum Masters, delivery leaders, and technical specialists.
• Establish shared understanding of what to build and why, align related product owners, and communicate platform releases, features, and dependencies.
• Drive platform KPIs, SLOs, and SLAs; use sprint demos as feedback loops and decide when sufficient value has been created for release.
• Ensure work is tested for quality, configured for observability, documented, and enabled for internal and external platform customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field plus 4+ years of Software Engineering, Product Development, or Product Management experience; or an advanced degree in one of these fields plus 2+ years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field.
