Software Technical Program Manager (MedTech)

Salary: $121,000–$205,000 USD annually for California-based roles

What you will do

• Define priorities for the Shared Services software platform by balancing internal and external stakeholder inputs.
• Act as liaison between system-level program management, software product owners, developers, operations teams, and business customers.
• Align software release timelines and version scope, report project status, and lead daily standups for one to two projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams delivering new products, services, processes, and ongoing product lifecycle management.
• Manage schedules, budgets, status reporting, project monitoring, and issue resolution from initiation through delivery.
• Develop progress-monitoring and intervention mechanisms and secure stakeholder engagement around business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to manage software programs and coordinate product, development, operations, and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of experience in product management, program management, product development, or a related field.
• Lean mindset and experience with the Build, Measure, Learn cycle.
• Problem-solving, analytical, process, and project management skills.
• Ability to motivate and collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customers.
• Medical device product, industry, or technical knowledge.
• Ability to work globally and effectively in a matrix environment.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, with experience in software engineering, product development, or product/program management.
