Project Controller (Power Systems)

Location: Lewis Center, Ohio, United States

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year for the Project Controller I level; the range may differ for another level.

What you will do

• Coordinate and track project activities between Project Managers and Engineering teams from quoting through project closeout.
• Forecast project resource workload and track schedules, resources, deliverables, deadlines, and project finances.
• Support proposal development, negotiation, project cost estimates, and order entry for new projects.
• Issue purchase orders and track equipment deliveries.
• Ensure invoices are issued according to project billing schedules.
• Engage with customer project managers, procurement, legal, and engineering stakeholders while tracking data, metrics, and project performance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a project controller or in a similar role.
• Process-driven approach with strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to understand technical deliverables in an engineering services organization.
• Commitment to quality work and on-time deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communication about technical subjects.
• Problem-solving ability and motivation to drive improvements.
• Open-minded attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
